Gerry Dokter, owner & operator of Winch Dokter P/L has had nearly 40 years of experience initially in the coal and iron ore mining industry with the past 30 years of experience and involvement in designing and manufacturing of custom built winch systems; for the fishing vessels, tug boats up to 65T bollard pull, work barges, anchoring systems, roll on roll of ferries and more recently specialised winches for the oceanographic seismic industry. Also specialising in design and manufacturing of cutter suction dredges for smooth water mining and reclamation with purpose designed maintenance plans to enhance dredge and winch systems reliability and availability.
